I have an unrelated full-time career and use photography to fill a profound void in my life: a creative outlet, the joy of creating art for the sake of creating art. Lately, I’ve focused more on learning to fly my drone really well and learning aspects of drone videography and editing. I also took up learning the guitar to keep the creative side of my brain active.

Residing here in the Mid-Atlantic region has afforded the opportunity to choose from a nearly unlimited number of inspirational settings, including Washington, D.C., coastal Delaware, and the surrounding mountains in Virginia, and West Virginia.

Nothing appeals to my eye and soul like well-crafted, artfully contrasted monochrome or black and white image. I tend to keep my universe of subjects and themes broad. I enjoy shooting travel, landscapes, abstracts, macro, minimalism, and long exposure. I've been interested in photography for several years, starting by shooting travel, but I fully immersed during the pandemic. While shooting on travel, I make every attempt to convey what I saw and felt.

If an image of mine gives a viewer some kind of emotional reaction, it is worth it. That’s the point. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it for myself.
